Dr. Workneh Gebeyehu and Abdoulkader Houssein exchange views on regional priorities and Sudan recovery

Days after his official visit to Khartoum, Sudan, IGAD’s Executive Secretary, H.E Dr. Workneh Gebeyehu held a meeting earlier today, with the Chair of the IGAD Council of Ministers and Djibouti’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Abdoulkader Houssein, to brief him on his mission to Sudan.

They reaffirmed their shared commitment to peace, stability and recovery in Sudan, while exchanging views on regional priorities and continued support for IGAD. He also expressed appreciation for Djibouti’s steadfast leadership and commitment to the region’s shared agenda.
